Hungary Mission 2005
The entire month of September I will have
the opportunity, along with two others to share the message of the Gospel
of the Kingdom of God in Hungary . We will serve churches from different
denominations such as Church of Christ , Pentecostal, and Baptist. In this
broad denominational spectrum we are glad that Jesus bridges the gap in
any culture or denomination.
The message of the gospel of the kingdom is
good news! In today's culture the gospel is watered down and speaks of
salvation from sin and the promise of eternity in heaven. However, the
practice of growth in the character and nature of Christ after conversion
is lacking or non-existent, as well as, daily living a lifestyle in the
kingdom of God . People are asked to pray a prayer asking for forgiveness
from sins, and receive eternal life in heaven, but what about the time
period from salvation to the return of Jesus Christ? Just as invitational
authority is given to Jesus at the time of salvation; He also waits to
be invited into every area and sphere of influence given by God. In Colossians
1:17 it says, “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” The
key words are in Him . God is the creative source
of life and the ultimate authority. The place from where we start, influences
what values we accept. If we want to see something different, we have to
start from a different place. What is our starting place? What is our worldview
or perspective of life? Do we start or view life from the kingdom of God
, or, the kingdom of self? These are a few principals each team member
will teach.

Our team will teach about the kingdom of God
and His authority and nature in different settings with groups such as:
pastors, ministry leaders, leadership communities, churches, women's and
men's discipleship groups, intercessory groups and Women's AGLOW in Budapest
! Our team would appreciate your prayer support. Please see our tentative
schedule.
Touching Hearts, Transforming Lives
One of the strategies of Master's Touch in
transforming lives in practical ways is through compassion ministry opportunities.
Recently these opportunities were through relational connections in Argentina
and India . Through your support, funds were sown towards a woman who was
recently widowed and had no source of income to pay for funeral expenses
or daily living needs. She was grateful for the blessing and practical
help.
Funds were also sown to help a pastor and
his wife from India in their first mission outside the country in Germany
. They will be serving a group of pastors in Germany sharing what God is
doing through their ministry to unreached people groups in Southern India
. It is exciting to see God expanding their territory to multiply in the
lives of other servants of God in the world. Other funds were sown in India
going towards a team of pastors serving alongside representatives of Harvest
India who serve unreached peoples in practical ways through teaching, feeding,
and healing. The team traveled to remote villages and islands predominately
Muslim in India . Many people encountered Christ and received food and
medical supplies. Some of these people had not eaten in over 10 days. These
were areas devastated by the tsunami and recent monsoon floods. Thanks
for your partnership with Master's Touch in touching hearts and transforming
lives bringing the kingdom of God in practical ways!
